Ottawa is holding steady in a balanced market. Sales in May for residential homes picked up quite a bit, but so did new listings, which supports the current balanced market. Reach out with your specific situation to see where risks and opportunities lie…

The Bank of Canada has held the overnight rate steady at 2.75%, with no changes to the bank prime rate, which remains at 4.95%, depending on your lender. Variable-rate mortgage clients will not see any change to their monthly payments or amortization at this time.
