January 29th 2025 – Bank of Canada interest rates drop!
The BOC has once again lowered rates. Homeowners with variable-rate mortgages and borrowers using lines of credit will save some money!
The next BOC announcement will come on March 12th…
July 2024 Ottawa Real Estate Stats
Numbers are pretty much holding steady pricewise from last month but are still down from last year… Sales are up a bit in terms of freehold homes but condos are still down significantly from 2023. Lots of opportunities out there with more interest rate drops expected!

Bank of Canada lowers its key interest rate again! Now sitting at 4.5%
Not expected to have a HUGE effect on the real estate market but will certainly help those on the verge of qualifying for a mortgage and will lead to some lower payments on lines of credit… Great news overall!
